Dear Erica and All,
Returning here to Deer Park, i am surrounded by the howls of coyotes, the smell of sage and filled with a deep gratitude for the experience and learnings of our time together. Thank you for being willing to be of service to us all on our individual and collective paths of healing.
In my own tradition, there is a very short sutra called the Eight Realizations. One of those realizations is that our minds have a tendency to always search outside of themselves, and that in this way we will always be thirsty for one more thing. If we are able to realize and recognize that we are enough, we have enough, and that within ourselves we have the tools necessary for our healing, then we will have taken a great step on our journey.
I received so much from each of those who were present for our special week together. May we have enough conditions to meet each other many many times.
May each of you be held and embraced in healing and protective energy.
With respect and "kindfulness"
Your brother
Phap Hai
